<p>The essays in this book originally published in 1984 examine many problems within the structure of industry including wage policies financial incentives and other economic policies. The book discusses the problems from two standpoints: that of the economist who is concerned with labour as a resource and the psychologist concerned with the behavioural activity of the labour force.
