This is Volume XI of the twenty-one in the Race Class and Social Structure series which looks at the theory of the 'marginal man' the situation and using a 'marginalised' group for study in Durban South Africa. This expands to include politics the participation in organised associations and also the links between the marginal situation and psychological marginality.
