Imperialism and its Contradictions

<p>V.G. Kiernan is recognized as one of the most remarkable historians of the twentieth century. Eric Hobsbawm says of Kiernan that his knowledge is encyclopedic and Edward Said refers to his writings on imperialism as milestones.
