<p><em>Human Conscience and Muslim-Christian Relations</em> puts forward a discussion of how the notion of conscience may unite Muslim and Christians across religious divides as well as examining the relation between selfhood and otherness in interfaith dialogue. The author explores how the notion of conscience has been dealt with by modern Egyptian authors and discusses their works in light of how Christian-Muslim relations in Egypt have evolved during the modern period.</p>
