These sparkling essays argue for accounts of sexuality gender and subjectivity that make lesbianism intelligible and important for lesbians and non-lesbians alike.<br><br> Moving between theoretical and autobiographical modes Biddy Martin brings different kinds of writing to bear upon one another.
