Culture and Conservation

<p>This book presents an analysis of conservation - that is how it is perceived practiced as well as how it is changing and being studied within communities and across cultures and disciplines. It examines the ways in which anthropologists study environmental damage and repair criticizing the ways in which they remain biased and overlook the damage done by traditional cultures and offer examples and ideas on how to reconcile the rift between the study of people and the promotion of environmental well being. </p>
