<p>Agricultural Policies in a New Decade was written in preparation for the 1990 Farm Bill in the United States in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Committee of the National Planning Association. Originally published in the same year, this study aims to inform on the key issues affecting the new bill including budget austerity, the effects of agriculture on environmental quality, the safety and security of the U.S. food supply and international markets and trade policy.
